Mr. Perrin currently works in several Central Florida counties with an office located in Winter Haven, Florida.   Practice areas include Child Protection (dependency), Marchman Act, Paternity, Dissolution of Marriage, Relative Custody, Adoption and other family law related matters.

2011-2015

Managing Attorney, Civil Division

Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, Region 4

In this position, Mr. Perrin represented parents accused by DCF of child abuse, abandonment or child neglect.  In addition to client representation, Paul was in a position of management and supervision over the civil division of 10 attorneys, support staff, law student interns and mentors engaged in dependency, termination of parental rights and Florida Marchman Act cases.

2003-2006

With DCF Mr. Perrin represented the State of Florida throughout 6 counties in child protection (dependency and termination of parental rights) cases.   Paul was also in a position of management and supervision over 8 attorneys and support staff in three offices providing child protection legal services.

2000-2002

Heart of Florida Legal Aid Society, Bartow, Florida

 In addition to representing low-income family law clients and victims of domestic violence in Polk, Hardee and Highlands Counties, Paul served as administrator of the program.

Before his legal career, Mr. Perrin worked as a substance abuse treatment counselor in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the Clinical Director of a substance abuse treatment program in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Perrin served honorably in the U.S. Army and the U. S. Army Reserve.
